Description

Talent International are currently looking for an experienced Principal Fullstack Developer for a State Government Department.

 

  • Initial 6 month daily rate contract
  • Based in Brisbane with 2 days WFH / 3 days on site
  • $100 to $117 p/h inc super depending on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Lead Developer and other team members responsible for product development, enhancements and support to the Whole of Government platforms including the myQLD Customer Portal & Digital Transaction Platforms and frameworks.
  • Work in an Agile SCRUM product team to support the building of new features and capabilities to platforms that underpin the online delivery of digital customer services for various agency services
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager, Customer Experience and Service Designers and other stakeholders
  • Work in a team to ensure a collaborative culture that fosters product-centric mindset, constantly iterating and improving to deliver quality digital products and services.
  • Ensure that all operations, process and practices operate within all relevant legislative and government standards.
  • Be available to be on call and/or undertake after-hours work as required for support and during key project stages.

Requirements:

  • Front-end Web Development:
    • React.js
    • Front-end single page application (SPA), application architecture e.g., patterns for routing, state management (Apollo GraphQL client), authentication, feature flags, forms and validation.
    • Working with UI libraries and design systems, including knowledge of HTML5, CSS frameworks, responsive design.
    • Strong experience integrating API services (REST or GraphQL) using Typescript.
  • Backend-end API Development (optional):
    • Experience in developing RESTFul API's services & Microservices in Java (SpringBoot) or Node.js
  • Test automation (Unit, Integration and end-to-end testing)
  • JIRA, Confluence and GitHub
  • CI/CD automation through GitHub actions for deployment to AWS services
  • Familiarity with AWS Cloud technologies - containers using Kubernetes and serverless components
  • Ability to work in an agile and DevSecOps environment with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarly working in environments providing enabling platforms support at high levels of availability and reliability, in high security assurance environments
  • Working in a product-focused team.
